I am seeking a, full-time Postdoctoral Researcher for 5 years, in the Department of Political Science, Faculty of Social Sciences, Campus Duisburg, in the ERC project POLITSOLID - Experimental Analyses of Political Solidarities in Modern European Democracies (https://bit.ly/politsolid)
Paygrade is level 14 of the remuneration system of public employees of the state Northrhine-Westphalia (at least ~ 2,600 € net monthly salary after taxes and health insurance).
Fluency in English, but no German is required.
Your duties: you will occupy the central position for empirical data collection and analysis within this major project. Over five years, you will coordinate the collection of individual-level data in lab experiments, international online surveys, an international CATI-assisted panel survey, and local field experiments. Furthermore, you will be responsible for developing an experimental online platform. You will manage one research assistant with a Master’s degree and several others with lower degrees. You will contribute to theory development and will be responsible for quantitative analyses of the data collected. With the project team and independently, you will share the results within the academic community though publications. You will assume various administrative tasks in the team with English as the working language.
