Dear all,
we are looking back at a great 2nd scientific meeting of our network!
We had more than 450 registered participants and ca. 70 presentations divided over 20 different panel sessions. Thanks again to all the presenters for their presentations on their fascinating research, and to all participants for your contributions to the discussions, and again a very big thank you to the local organizing committee in Jena! Many of the presenters uploaded their presentations to the osf-website of the conference. Please check it out at https://osf.io/3hu2x/

We are looking forward to continue this tradition of having a yearly conference (online or on-site ), so if you are interested in being a local organizer of next year’s conference, please get in touch with us!

I also want to share a few points we discussed during our network’s “business” meeting.

Our mailing list currently has 317 members. Everyone can post their messages directly to the mailing list by sending an email to polpsy-deu at fernuni-hagen.de<mailto:polpsy-deu at fernuni-hagen.de>. The list is moderated (just to prevent the occasional spam or not political psychology related emails), and we typically approve the emails quickly. An archive of messages sent over the mailing list can be found on our website https://polpsynet.netlify.app/mailing.html. We are also on Twitter. If you are as well, please make sure to follow us @PolPsyNetDE

We also talked about additional (online) events - If you/people at your institution are organizing events of interest to the political psychology crowd, such as lecture series, that are open to people outside of your institution, it would be great if you could send this to our mailing list as well.

We also discussed the possibilities of creating some kind of a “marketplace” to find potential collaboration partners or advice on particular issues. For now, we also invite you to use the mailing list for this.

As always, if you have any other suggestions on how the network can help to foster exchange between scholars of political psychology in Germany (and possibly beyond), please do not hesitate to reach out to us, we are looking forward to hearing from you!

Best wishes
Jolanda, Kathrin, Frank and Flavio
