10th GESIS Summer School in Survey Methodology 2021 – Registration is open!
The GESIS Summer School 2021 will take place from 28 July - 20 August. In its 10th anniversary year, it will again (as in the first year of the Corona pandemic) have to be held online as a virtual summer school.
14 courses are scheduled, including 4 short courses and 10 one-week courses, 7 of which are new “Using Directed Acyclic Graphs for Causal & Statistical Inference”, “(Non-) Probability Samples in the Social Sciences”, “A (Short) Course on (Short) Scale Development”, “Mixed-Methods and Multimethod Research”, “Collecting and Analyzing Longitudinal Social Network Data”, or have been completely redesigned: “Pretesting Survey Questions”, and “Design and Implementation of Web Surveys”.

The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD)<https://www.daad.de/en/> will offer some scholarships<https://www.gesis.org/en/gesis-training/what-we-offer/summer-school-in-survey-methodology/scholarships> for participants of the GESIS Summer School. An application form will be published on the Summer School's website soon.
Thanks to our cooperation with the Center for Doctoral Studies in Social and Behavioral Sciences (CDSS)<https://gess.uni-mannheim.de/doctoral-programs/social-and-behavioral-sciences-cdss.html> at the University of Mannheim, participants can obtain a certificate acknowledging a workload worth 4 ECTS credit points per one-week course.
Participants are asked to submit a paper (6000//5000 words in courses with 24 h/week//30 h/week) within one month after the end of the course.
