The University of Warwick is seeking to appoint two full-time, postdoctoral researchers based at the Department of Psychology, as part of an ERC-funded research awarded to Professor Gordon Brown. The posts are available to start as soon as possible on or after 1st October 2021. The project concerns people’s preferences, values and choices and the relation of these to social influence, markets, and phenomena such as income inequality, political polarization and nationalism.

Strong candidates are likely to have interests in at least some of political psychology, cognitive modelling, judgement and decision-making research,  econometrics, computer programming, or experimental design. An interdisciplinary perspective is essential. 

The positions are for two years in the first instance, with a possible extension of an additional year. Closing date is October 5th 2021.
